“Bad Taste SciFi” is a compilation of images made into music, it is full of sounds to let yourself go and let your mind fly, and it is an album that flows very naturally through areas such as punk blues, the rock that likes the industrial , the electronic closest to rock and the most cinematic post-jasper experimentation. A collection of songs that perfectly match the moment we are living. Confused times in which only through music, and if it is music like Carlsed‘s (imaginative, traveling and progressive in the best sense of the term), we will be able to withstand the downpour that is coming upon us..

What would you do if you were the last person alive on the planet? Prolong a sterile existence? Feed a hopeless routine? Or end it all and let yourself die? Sylvia, the last person, is the woman who discovered the asteroid that wiped out existence, and she decides to end her own once and for all, to lie beside her love and simply disappear. She chooses never to wake up, never to wander again, and never again to check the toxic state of the water. Because we should all decide where and when to surrender;

and not try to understand or project our meaning onto something that has none and is beyond us. Starring Clàudia Permanyer and directed and produced by Carlos Sedeño (a.k.a. Carlsed) himself, the music video for ‘Sylvia 87’ showcases the beauty and tranquility of apocalyptic landscapes and the absurdity of life itself in the aftermath of the cataclysm. It translates into images the sound of the single, but also that of the album as a whole: Bad Taste SCi-Fi, Carlsed's debut album released by No Where. A silent, instrumental statement on how experimentation between post-rock industrial and electronic exploration can transport us to a post-apocalyptic future… or perhaps to a present we are already almost living?
