Music has been part of my life long before it became my profession.

I've explored it through film, video art, composition and music production, but I've never experienced them as separate disciplines. To me, they have always been different ways of exploring the same question:

How can a work move us, transform us, and stay with us?

I don't see creation as a choice.

I see it as a necessity.

I need to create in the same way I need to breathe.

Maybe that's why I feel so connected to the artists I work with.

I know what it means to place a song you've lived with in someone else's hands.

I know the trust that requires.

And I never take it for granted.

ABOUT

Carlsed is the artistic name of Carlos Sedeño, a music producer, composer and audiovisual artist based in Barcelona, working with artists and projects internationally.

His work moves across music production, composition, mixing, sound design and audiovisual creation. Rather than approaching these disciplines as separate fields, he sees them as different ways of exploring the same essential question: how sound and images can create emotion, identity and meaning.

Throughout his career, Carlsed has worked across electronic music, rock, pop, experimental music, jazz and audiovisual projects, collaborating with artists from different countries and cultural backgrounds. His work includes original productions, remixes, mixing, mastering, composition for film and audiovisual projects.

As a producer, his approach is centred on artistic identity. Every project requires its own language, and the production process begins with listening: understanding what makes an artist distinctive and finding the right sonic space for that identity to emerge.

He has developed and produced projects internationally, including collaborations between Europe and Asia, and is co-founder of Nowhere Records, an independent record label based in Barcelona.

His work brings together a background in music, composition and audiovisual direction, moving freely between studio production and visual storytelling.
